The burgundy interior of this '03 S8 looks bad in pictures. Anybody seen one in person?

The burgundy interior of this '03 S8 looks bad in pictures. Anybody seen one in person?
The other two '03 S8 interiors (caramel/black and Platinum/blck) look great. I love the Avus silver exterior color on this S8, but the burgundy interior looks like a room in an Italian brothel. Is this just a set of bad pictures or does it look more classy in person? Laurel Audi in Westmont has a new one on the floor right now
I was looking at it side by side next to the new A8L last week. Same color combo. The salesman say that a lot of people would like to buy the car but they get turned off by the interior color.
I said that it's so nice....it is definitely a cult color! The 03 S8's have such nice leather, they only brought in 3 colors, about 350 cars total for 03. The color is much darker than in the pictures....it's really nice.
I would love to have an 03 S8 with either that color or the black with carmel....it's really, really sharp....and CULT!
With the wheels, it's just such a nice looking car, but I would put H&R's on it to complete the look!

I thought the same thing...
I LOVE the Avus silver - but saw some pics of the burgundy interior and decided to go with a 'plain old' silver exterior with black interior. I wouldn't have been able to see the burgundy in person until after I bought the car. And I didn't really want to risk it...
I have seen some great burgundy leather interiors though, and I figure that Audi designers have pretty good taste and wouldn't make it obnoxious.
Anyways, my 'new' ('02 used) Silver/Black S8 should be delivered this weekend. And I'm not at all nervous about what I'll think of the interior color. But I will probably wish I had Avus silver...
