a8 40k service.. it pays to call around
in ny/ct area,
Classic Auto... $400
Fairfield Audi... $150
Zumbach... no response
how can a glorified oil change and general inspection cost $400 you say? "it's a v-8, so it costs more" says the service manager at classic auto. thanks, i think i'll skip the rape. way to boost the audi reputation for customer-centric service.

Isn't this covered under scheduled maintance?
I thought the 4 year/50k included maintaince cover these service intervals? I know Jack Daniels tried to charge me for the 30k service, because I asked them to do it at 26K but I got them over that hurdle.
