Replaced the ignition switch today - 45 minutes start to finish!

I was going to have the dealer fix it about 1.5 years ago, the service writer said it's an easy fix, about 1 hour plus the switch. After my car was in, he called back and said it was $500 to do it. I defered it to later.
The switch was $33, and was it soooo easy to put in!
Disconnect the battery, unscrew the two screws that hold the air bag on, take it off, take off the cover over the steering column, unbolt the steering wheel, take off the lower steering colum cover, pull the electrical connector off the switch, and unscrew two little set screws holding the switch in place, swap it out and reassemble.
Took me 45 minutes from start to finish with picking up all my tools. You can see where the plastic broke on the old switch.
I will write it up and post to audipages soon. Very, very easy.
