Emission Recall. They replaced....

MAF sensor for FREE. wow, nice surprise

Would you happen to have the number of that recall or a

copy? I sure would like to file a copy of that away for future use. I think several guys here also had MAF sensor problems which were either weren't replaced under recall or they bought a part themselves for which they might be paid back by Audi. Thanks.

Its last and I believe only one recall on 1999/2001 "fuel sender unit cover and seal"...

Why they replaced MAF sensor in addition, I don't know. I refused to do this repair two months ago ($750) and for a wile shopped around for sensor ($400 cheapest I found), and because I'm too slow, I got it for free now. I hope they are not going to send me bill later
