Default Very annoying problem solved - noisy wipers

My car has had noisy wipers since I bought it. I tried new blades and was even going to get new arms from Bosch which were around $120 for the pair. There was even a TSB about noisy blades which I printed out and gave to the dealer last time I was there. Apparently there is an issue with the angle of the blade on the windshield and they use a protractor to adjust the arm. That helped a little but I still hated using the wipers especially if it was just misting. So, it's pouring rain here and I got so fed up I went into Pep Boys and bought two of the "Proline" 22A and 21A arms and put them on in place of the OEM arms. They work perfect and cost a total of $13.The difference on the pass side is the OEM has a slight curve to it which doesn't seem to make a difference even when the blade is parked. The driver side has an airfoil which I can probably take off and mount to the new arm if I really feel like it. I've used the Prolines on my other car and they work great. If you don't like these you can get the stock Bosch arms of the same size and they're only like $12 each. Still saving quite a bit over the OEM setup.

I posted about this recently, got no replies.. I had a hard time finding a pass. side that fit aside from the oem 25 buck part. For winter, I bought Anco 22s and the fit and reach is great. Barely any noise, and no more drips reverberating on the driver side into my view. The oems always dragged water back with a splash effect to it. Total PITA.

I have also used Pylon, with replaceable blades. CHeap, but they are so brittle they make noise as they bend; before they eventually break into pieces. So forget Walmart, Pepboys is better.

The Tire Rack sold replacement arms for us .. curved for the passenger side and winged for the driver's side.

Default you're right.. look to be around $24 each. They specify 22" for....

both sides but a 22" on the pass side was a bit too long so I used a 21". I think the OEM 22" works on the pass side because of the curve which my replacements don't have. I'll post a pic shortly.
