Is anybody located near Carlsen Audi (Palo Alto, CA) who could look at a car for me?
I'm trying to buy a car at Carlsen Audi. I'm in Pennsylvania; the dealer is in California.
This cross-country buying experience is turning out to be a difficult one, which I should have expected since there are so many negative and noncomplimentary posts in several AudiWorld forums in regard to Carlsen Audi.
If I am able to arrive at a tentative agreement, is there somebody here who can take a look at the car for me?

I'm not too far from Carlsen, which one are you looking at? I may be able to take a look at it for you. Their prices are a little high.

when I might need your help.
You're right about their pricing. We'll have to see if they come into the reality range.
Cars sitting on lots aren't getting any younger or newer. They'll have to decide if they want to sell a car, or have it sit while time goes into another model year.

All CA dealer prices are high because they're proud of their cars... Not abused by the weather and I
think it's true. The weather never get below 38F unless you go up to the mountain for skiing. But too high compared to east coast cars. They wanted 21k for a 98 with 78k miles and the car was dented, bondo and they won't fix it either. I was crazy about A8 but not that naive. There are not many A8s in CA to begin with, most of used A8s here are from other states. I have to use carfax to check them out.
