245/45/18 summer tires for sale?

Since winter has hit most of us - anybody have a nice set of summer tires they want to sell? Maybe clear out a litte space in the garage?

I'm looking for a matched set size 245/45/18 in good shape with at least 60% tread or more.

Micheln Pilots are preferred, but will consider other nice, quiet brands.

I have 4 65%-70% tread left on yokohomas avs decible all season tires they are 255/45 18 and work great on the a8. I have no rubbing at all on 18x8 rims. I just got 18x9 rims and want to go with 275/40 so I am selling the rims and tires. or just tires alone and rims alone. let me know.. email for pictures and details..

Thanks for your reply. I have a set of 18x8 chrome wheels I need rubber for. How is your speedo affected by the 255/45 vs. the 245/45. I'm guessing that it may make the speedo show you are going slower than you actually are correct?

How are these tires for noise & comfort? That's all I'm looking for. I autocross enough with my Vettes - I like a nice cushy, quiet ride with the A8.

Lastly, what are you asking for the tires?

they make as much noise as other directional tires I have including the pilot a/s I have also. not touring tire quite. these are performace tires so they do make a little noise. as for the speedo. you would be further off with the 245 45 cause 225/60/16 stock run about 27" tall (mfg specific). the 255 run about .3 inch taller.. not much. I have never had any rubbing and I dropped the car with elbich springs. around 1.5 inches.. I just got a 275/40 18 free to try later this week. I am going to mount one to my rim and see if I have any issues before I order new ones. that is a fat tire. wow.
