Greetings all

Own a 1999 A4 2.8 Quattro & 1991 100.And have been to the Ponza racing school just north of Atlanta. However I just bought a very clean 2000 A8L Silver w black int. for a winter car......had it the days now and I believe I have fallen deeply in love. I do have a few issues if anyone could refer me. Rear sunshade does not operate however I hear whats sounds like a clicking at the rear deck when I hit the dash button. Also when I turn on Nav it says "Please check cd-rom" the cd is in the nav...could this be bad cd or more likely nav unit? thanks and look forward to sharing with you all.

I think someone here had a problem sith the nav and fixed it-

by lubricating the mechanism that drives the reader-head inside the unit. Might be able to finde the post on this Forum (D2) by doing a search for Nav Unit in 2004. Try it. Good luck.
