Paul Scores a Few Things
So the quest to make my 97 a Ur-S8 (pre facelift) is another step closer.....
I'm getting a pre facelift instrument cluster.....I found a pre facelift grill and badge and rear badge:

The dash is definitely different from the facelift S8 dash....has the S8 logo above the tach center and the old Audi motorsports logo.....very cool....and it's from a UK car, so it's calibrated in miles....a little different look than our US bound cars. The temperature gage is calibrated in degress C also.

The grill is granite versus black.
And now to make the car over-the-top.....drumroll please.....

Beige seats with beige alcantara inserts...sport seats! I'm getting them shipped to the US, and I think Airbill talked me into getting the rear seats too.
The driver's seat (which is the right hand seat on this car) is a little worn, but with a good cleaning and dying, I bet it will look new....and the passenger seat is in great shape, which will be the driver's seat in my car!
Getting the first items shipped via airmail.....I'm still trying to find some way to ship the seats.....

I have to get the seats here first, then figure out if they even have airbags....then have to figure out what to do with my old seats...I will probably just hang onto them so I can demod the car when I get rid of it. I'm sure some enthusiast would want to use these seats in another hot rod!

When I moved to Dallas they moved all my furniture and my car. I used to work there when I was in school and got a good deal. They are based in Ohio (Toledo) I think.
