TB Complete!
Well I managed to get the TB job done, including all new parts and fixed the oil cooler leak while I was at it. Runs like a top now, smooth, quite... In addition, my electric fan was going out and shaking quite a bit so I replaced that as well. What a difference! Now not 1 drop of fluid on my garage floor for a week!
Being the impatient one, I went to rent the needed tools from Paul but both of his sets were out so I actually bought my own set. Now, I am not trying to compete with Paul at all, but if anyone needs the tools and either you can't get in touch with Paul or his sets are not available, get in touch with me and I can hook you up with the tools for the same cost and deposit, $100 for the rental and $300 for the deposit. I will also take PayPal so it is easy to pay etc... Again, just want everyone to know there is another source for the TB tools!

Yes, took the front end off. A bit more work up front (not much) but wow what a difference it makes to get to everything so easily! Not to mention saving precious skin and fingers from tight spaces. Email is on the way...

No problem...
I used a 6" dial caliper as Paul outlined and as the Bentley outlines for the measurement on the damper. I actually measured it a few times and rotated the engine between measurements with the wrench moving the balancer and measured again just to make sure. I did notice the measurement moved from rotation to rotation but after I got it to stay somewhere right in the middle of the tolerance, I left it and locked it down. It has been running flawlessly since I buttoned it up and turned it over the first time.
