Default leather products

My 2000 A8L does not get benefit of a garage and the leather while not anything nearing hard is not as supple as when I bought it a year ago. Does anyone have experience with a product that will actually keep the leather soft and not give a greasy or waxy feel to the leather nor change the color value appreciably?

I use the Lexol leather cleaner and leather conditioner, I use it once every month or two, and it does not make the leather look greasy or slimey. When you first apply it it may a bit, but it absorbs into the pores eventually and looks great.

I am A leather tech specailising in rejuvenating all leathers and suggest that a proprietry leather conditioner for finished leathers is what is required.
Also if you have a professional refinisher in your area a top coat once a year will keep all well.
Beware beeswax etc as this just cloggs up the grain.
There are too many old wives remedies stemming from the old veg tanned leather days and this is not what is required for modern chrome tanned leather.
The leather in your car needs only a little attention depending on conditions-Have any cracking repaired asap as this harms the leather far more than colour wear.

Default I Really like Connelly Hide Food

I started using it in a string of Jags. It makes the A8 (ecru) seats buttery. Smells pretty good too. Found at RR or Jag stores and sometimes on Ebay.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-Authentic-Connolly-Leather-Hide-Food_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6763QQitemZ8003399 448QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-Authentic-Connolly-Leather-Hide-Food_W0QQcmdZVi
