Mod questions....
Any help will be appreciated.
Anyway, I got a TT wheel with the Tiptronic paddles, and retrofitted it into my A6 that did not ahve the tip buttons on the steering wheel.
I lost radio controls, but that is okay with me. I hardly used them anyway, but I haev LOTS of fun driving with the tip paddles.
They are more responsive than the tip shifter, the shifts feel more instant. However, one drawback, the car stays in tip mode even if I shift back into Drive. I either have to shift to Neutral then back into Drive, or 4th gear then back into Drive to get out of tip mode.
The car does shift down automatically when slowing to a stop, but will not shift up automatically (I have not tested beyond somewhat high RPMs).
