Joining the club, justbought an A8
Hello all,
Just picked up an '03 A8L with 44K miles for $33,500. Not a steal but not a bad deal (I think).
Still a bit left on the factory warrantee, so some piece of mind. Car is clean, except that there was a front bumper/hood repaint and the color match (silver) is not perfect, but not terrible either. I was not finding that many '03 A8's in this price range so I pulled the trigger on it.. I have some questions about the car but will post seperately with an appropriate subject line!

This year I'll likely race......
in a few Masters races and most of the TeamSki races. (TeamSki is a dual-slalom format race that has a huge range of racer abilities. Actually it's more like a modified GS than anything else.) How about you?

33k is about what I paid on a 3 y/o A8q with 18k miles and CPO. If your in service date was 2003, then you did really well since the car is 2 years old in use as well as model year. Off lease car?

Unfortunately, it takes more than 2 good wheels...
I've never had any knee problems after 30 years of competition, but I do struggle w/ a broken back, neck and fractured pelvis. Too many DH crashes at 75mph +. Thank God for good neurosurgeons!
