Beep when locking car..

Hello all,

New A8 owner here..I have a question on the type of sound I should here when remote locking my '03 A8. The sound I have now sounds like a muffled short burst from a half dead '63 VW beetle horn, and can only be heard when within 20 feet of the vehicle. Does not seem normal, but don't know.. my BMW has a loud chirp, as my other cars give a short burst of the regular horn.

What should I be hearing on my A8?

That's what I hear, too. I think it's by design, a little Audi subtlety & discretion.

It's the right sound. Nice and subtle. The alarm system has it's own horn located in the trunk.

I'm still amazed at the amount of Duct Tape Audi used on these vehicles!

Every time I take something apart, I find more of the stuff!

Can i Use this quote in my Sig.... This is the first thing i thought when i started taking this thing a part. (i think it hilarious, and brilliant)edit:the fact that audi uses so much duct tape)
