fixed the creaking noise in the front end..
ok someone on here told me over and over to check the bolts. I stated I have about 4 times so far. all the bolts nuts for all the control arms, shocks etc. Well I ended up buying a new torque wrench and guess what the old one I had was bad. the creaks and noises are now gone.. I hope for good. it ened up being the LOWER curved control arms bolt loose. not by much but I gues just enough to cause a issue. I could not get the torque wrench on that nut (those of you who have been there will understand) but after the feel of other bolts I had a good Idea of what the torque felt like. I guess I was right and it did turn about 1/2 turn and no more noise. I must of pulled that shock out about 4-5 times thinking it was that.. Oh well at least I found it. hope it helps others find their issue.

somewhat related... for those of you have been getting the rattling in the front end -
(and have done upper control arms), make sure you reinstall the small tapered bushings (two) with the upper subframe. Those nuts should be 74lbs. I did one side on my car last night and thinking of things that might be the cause.
Make sure that you set the "angle" of the upper curved arm as well. There's a diagram in the Bently specifically for this.
