$520 for my tranny service, and $600 to fix my radio reception? I don't think so...
$255 in labor, $85 for the strainer, $40 for the gasket and 6 qts/ltrs Audi ATF at $21ea. Car runs great, but wasn't having any problems before service. Gear shifts seem different, but not enough miles to note changes. My brakes seem surprisingly more responsive- seems quite odd.
I was quoted $600 to fix my radio reception, and that is insane. Can satellite radio be added w/o messing up the great in-dash 6 CD changer?

If they only put in 6 qts, you may have a problem........
It should take about 7.5 qts or so, when you change the strainer. Did they refill it correctly?<ul><li><a href="http://www.audipages.com/Tech_Articles/auto_transmission/autotranservicing.html">Filling the Transmission</a></li></ul>

Thanks for the heads up- I'll check on that tomorrow
The work was done by the local Audi dealer, and they have been very good in the past. If they tell me 6 qts filled it, should I believe them? There's no dipstick or level check, is there? I reviewed Paul's procedure and determined it was not cost effective for me to attempt.
