Front Brake Pads & Rotors replacement
Followed the printed Audipages instruction and the it was simple enough, but the bolts took a long time to remove. One of the 18mm sockets broke (taiwan made, amazing, it actually cracked open).
Found a brake place near home that turned both of the rotors for $20. They said it was bad but still did them for me anyway.
After putting everything back on, the brake pads and turned rotors don't make noise, but they're definitely not as effective as the old ones. They seemed fade more, it takes longer time to stop. The old ones stop a lot quicker. I don't know how long these brakes will set in but at least, my wife doesn't have to complain the car stop so quick in panic situation that causes her to spill coffee.
The pad is not in complete contact with the rotor and they probably need to bed in also.
It will get better.
Another thing that will improve pedal is bleeding the brake fluid. I never use to do it, now I highly recommend it on at least a bi-annual basis.
