Default Two plus weeks waiting for an instrument cluster and than...

The part cannot be programmed to accept my cars mileage and they have to order a new part. The dealer cannot tell me how long the new part will take. Ughh !! Looking for advise to escalate.

compare to my two day turn around on mine last year. Sorry to hear it.

Default Had a problem with the instrument cluster too ... 6wks though.

Best bet is talk to the service manager, and then talk to the general manager. Don't bother with AudiNA, they're completely useless and half the time won't return your calls. Imagine a bunch of minimum wage just out of high schoolers answering phones and forgetting what they tell customers ... and then wondering why customers are upset they didn't deliver.

Up until week 4 I was really nice and understanding, but by then everybody at the dealership had gone on their audi awards trip.

When the general manager got back, some stuff got straightened right out. Basically the parts guy and my service advisor were total pud wackers.

I was thinking give them 2 more wks than call the Regional Service Director or eq.

Default Start by letting the GM of the dealership know whats going on first.

Give him the opportunity to take care of the situation first. He'll have more direct contact with the people involved. They'll be more apt to worry about a displeasing the GM than they will be some regional rep they've maybe met once and are shielded from by their managers.

Always been my experience that the GM truly doesn't want upset customers. Plus if it gets to them, they get pissed that their employees aren't doing their job of taking care of you.
