Default What about an A6 Avant?

Get one with the 3rd row seating. Congrats on your 3rd child, sounds like your going to have your hands full.

Default Counterpoint: not an Odyssey, but not an Odyssey in an accident, either

It's not the biggest buggy in the world, but an A8 will certainly carry five people and a trunk full of stuff. Maybe you can't carry 14 stuffed animals, the Playstation, the extra large laundry basket, and a tricycle like your Odyssey-driving neighbors.

But if you clean out the clutter regularly and cultivate a little zen spareness in your caravan, you can drive a car which (a) is less likely to get your family in an accident because it goes, stops, and handles at a very high level; (b) will protect your family better than virtually anything on the road if you do have an accident; (c) will give you 183 times the driving pleasure when you make that 11 pm milk run every night; and (d) maintains testosterone levels 71% higher over five years than those of minivan drivers (Consumer Reports, or, er, somebody...)

Default Three in the seats!!!

I fit my 3 boys in the back of my 98 A8 with no problem. It's a snug fit with the 3 Britax car seats(expensive, but why drive the safest car and scrimp on the seats? my .02), but it works and the sunscreens built into the rear doors and the rear deck work wonders.

Plus the Mrs. and I have plenty of room up front and don't forget the huge trunk for the pack-n-play, diaper bags, supersaucer, etc.

Is this your family's only car or is there another one that you could ditch for the minivan?

In the interest of fair and balanced commentary, my wife does haul the kids around in a 2001 Town & Country LXi that works well for her needs. But, when the weekend comes, it's a quick swap of the car seats and off we go in Dad's Audi!

If it serves your purpose...just buy it mate. Don't worry about the brand, in my opinion it doesn't matter who makes it, if they do it right.
