where do you buy mobil 1 and how much?
wondering where folks get their oil from? the walmart here in central nj has the following mobil 1.
5w40 ... 5.16/qt or 20.17/5-qt (4.03/qt)
5w30 ... 5.16/qt or 20.17/5-qt (4.03/qt)
5w30ep ... 5.62/qt or 24.97/5-qt (4.99/qt)
doesn't appear they carry 0w40.

I used to buy Delvac-1, the truck formulation for diesel engines in my race cars. I bought it directly from the Mobil Cicero, IL lubrication products plant. I set up an account using my name and paid with a cc. $4/qt-- just like you mentioned.
I use Mobil-1 Extended Interval formula now and change it every 15K miles, which for me is about 9 months. It costs $5.69/qt at Walmart in 5 qt. jugs. The oil is still relatively clear, and I use some of the old stuff in my snow blower and lawn mower, both of which are over 10 years old.
