Brake squeel fixed, but outer rim of rotor nolonger has contact...
Had the work done a my regular non stealler. The rotor is nice and clean except for the .5 inch rim around the outside. Can't see this being a good thing!!! Squeels gone... but performance seems worse and from what I've read this ring around the outside will cause squeel and other issues down the line.
Any suggestions.

Re: Old pads!! Well not old. Started squeeling at 3000Km in hot humid conditions...
Squeeled for months then finally resolved it last week.
Not sure what he did, but the fact that the pad doesn't seem to be covering the entire rotor would make me think the squeel was caused by rubbing near the edge.
My thought now is that the uncovered edge will get build up and start to squeel.
I also think they've been machined which will take a big hit on their lifespan.
