Front bumper cover repair...
It's hanging down on the passenger side where the "L" shaped bracket on the bumper cover is broken.
The question is, do I have to completely remove the bumper in order to remove the bumper cover?
Appreciate any insights?
I'll take pictures and post them to show the repair
process when it's complete.
I repaired my broken bumper cover L-bracket with some thin aluminum angle, pop rivets, and epoxy. The pop rivets are primarily to hold the angle to the broken bracket pieces while the epoxy sets up.
Uh-oh!

Really crappy pic of the aluminum angles with pop rivets.

I forgot to take my camera to my buddy's garage so I don't have any pictures. But the pics that Jim posted will provide everything you need. god forbid you have to make this repair.
When we got the bumper off, the L-bracket wasn't anywhere to be found. We drove back to the scene of the "incident" swept snow for a few minutes surprisingly found it. There wasn't much material left where it connects to the bumper cover but we did seem to get a good solid rivet job and lots of epoxy.
I think the worst part was getting the washer hose off. Finally heated that up with a hair dyer
and it came right off.
Lessons learned: stay away from curbs, stay tuned to this board, and try to be a little less ****.
Thanks again guys, for all your input and assistance.
