Trunk light warning!!

Trunk light warning!!
I am about to buy a 2000 A8 and one of the problems it has is the warning light stays on as if the trunk is open. So I close the trunk and it stays on then eventually it goes off. This is and intermitant problem. Any ideas!!! How much???
Also when I test drove the car I tried the windshield washers and it did not work. Then I saw washer fluid coming from under the car. It seems to me a washer line broke? As well the left headlight washer does not pop up? Any help would be greatly appreciated
