Coolant Reservoir (97 A8q 4.2)

hi, anyone know of a good source for a new inexpensive (under $50)reservoir for a 97 A8q? My dealer wants $57... is this a good price or do they go as low as $40?? Sounds nominal but just curious...

Sounds reasonable to me...

I had to replace mine as the place where the hose attached was damaged. It's the lid that's expensive though. Is that price for the tank plus the top?

mine's damaged at the spout on top of the res as well, but i don't get what...

...you mean by the "lid" is expensive? the res i'm talking about is the light whitish-yellow res that is on the drivers side next to the brake fluid res... and the "cap" is blue... is this the "lid" you're talking about?
