Stuck Rear Headrests (97 A8q 4.2)

Is there any other way to get stuck rear headrests down besides taking the back seat apart?

Mine never worked on my 1998 and it wasn't worth the trouble to fix them.

have you checked the fuse in the trunk???

ok, the dash buton initiates the motor but the headrest does not go down; the buttons on the side of the rear seats work as well because motor is audible... it seems like the headrest is off track... even pushing the h-rest downward while pressing the button does not get it to go down... any other thoughts, guys? thanks
