Default Cracked wheel: 98 OEM 17" A8 alloy. Anybody selling one?....
I found one on Ebay, but thought I'd check here first.

My local garage told me that he has found quite a few cracked Audi wheels.

I noticed in the service history on my car, the PO had a wheel replaced as well...

Default Don't know - and I'm the only driver...
The crack is about 3cm long extending from the inside edge - the least supported part of the wheel. There are a lots of potholes in the Northeast state right now due to the weather, but I don't recall hitting anything too severe.

Maybe metal fatigue combined with a pothole. Tis a bit of a mystery. I didn't notice the crack when I cleaned them last spring. Only found out about it because I started losing air a week ago.

According to my mechanic it's not unusual on Audis. (8s and 6s)

I have two 17 i will sell to you at a reasonable cost, I left them at my mechanic last week when I had my new wheels installed.
