"upper" oil pan gasket - has anyone done it themselves?
I didn't even know that there was an upper gasket until someone posted a few weeks ago.
The Bentley shows it in an exploded diagram but there's no procedure. I'm basically trying to figure out if it can be done w/o removing the subframe.
I think all of us (me included) might have changed the lower gasket (or resealed) it when the leak has been coming from the upper gasket all along. I have a feeling that's the case on my wife's car.
Anyone who's done it, please jump in!

thought of the crank seal too (hoping not). Where is the oil pump drive seal?
I was actually going to email you to see if Elsa had a procedure to change the upper pan gasket. This looks like the same pic in the Bentley. Can't really tell if it can be done with the subframe in place.
