Driveshaft clicking - all who fixed it, cv joints at end freezing or the center bearing going?

Driveshaft clicking - all who fixed it, cv joints at end freezing or the center bearing going?
My driveshaft is clicking with every rotation, usually in reverse but also in drive when i give it hard.
I heard blau can rebuild the center bearing for $60, and they are only about an hour away from me. (I would pull out and bring the shaft there)
Just want to explore my options. Right now I'm leaning towards a used shaft for around $150ish

Driveshaft for 150? I replaced mine with rebuild at around 500 + core. A8CT has replaced as well.
Do you mean fron CVs in the half shafts? I don't believe that the center bearing goes out. Its usually the CV joint right after the output shaft from the transmission that goes. It made a really loud squirrly metallic noise for me and a few others.

my noise is coming from right under the car - right in front of the differential
i ended up buying a used driveshaft for around $100 . I'll take my chances. I think i'll find that the center bearing is shot when i take it apart.
