TAP Modified Neiman Marcus TT
Ed was trying to figure out where all of the Neiman Marcus TTs were. Now we know that #18 of 100 is owned by TAP, who is going to modify it big time. Over the coming weeks, they will discuss and demonstrate their mods and after all is said and done, they will sell the car.<p>Regardless of your personal feelings about the modifications, it should be fun to watch. Just a few pics are up for now, along with a description of what they are going to do to the NM TT. For me, this forum is like a drug. I am really looking forward to the transformation of this TT over the next weeks.... If I had the cash I would buy this baby in a heartbeat, unfortunatly I must finance. Can this car be financed ??<br>Where is T.A.P. located ??<p>Waiting for my 225 in the spring of 2000. But I did order my silver TT model fron Autofanatics to hold me over until then. Received it today...it's a beauty!! Tried sprinkling water on it to see if it would grow to a full sized car.....no luck!!<p>It looks like this T.A.P. will be a beauty....<br>Thanks T.A.P.<br>-R<p>

On Front Cover of MAX SPEED Magazine???!!
It's my understanding that the TAP TT Coupe will be featured on the cover of Max Speed Magazine in the next issue. Hopefully, you'll see the car lowered,etc. w. a variety of performance modifications that "competent" TAP has done to the car. I also understand more are underway.OH-BTW the car will feature a set of the Chrome 17x8" Ronal LV, lightweight sport wheels w. Pirelli PZero ultra-hi performance tires in 225/45/ZR17 size.

Are you sure that is the case? I thought it was going to be the HEAVILY modified JE Design TT; in Denim Blue with the Blue interior. It has 18x 8.5 in the front with 18x9.5 in the rear. The Aero changes consist of a new grill, Front splitters, Rear masks and a lowered suspension. Maybe it's just IN the same issue. Definitely let us know. Maybe it's the issue after the next. <p>
