Door problem... sometimes wont shut

Door problem... sometimes wont shut

at times when i close my driver side door it 'doesnt catch' and opens up again (i guess thats how i can describe it). anyone else experienced this?

I'm still waiting for my TT. But when I rented one for a weekend, that one had a problem with the hatchback door closing. Had to try many times to close it tight. Curious to hear other people having similar problem.

Noriko, the hatchback thing is an entirely different issue...

All of the TT have a hatchback which requires a hard slam to close properly. This is due to the TT's relatively airtight seal. That's why the windows go down slightly when you close the door. If you close the hatch with a door or a window open, you will see that it shuts quite easily.Keys' problem is probably a simple adjustment and/or lubrication issue. However, if his windows were not cracking the 1/4" automatically, then the door would be difficult to close just like the hatch.
