Audi USA Turns it's back on TT Owner.

I received a TT on June 4, with no tailights (Posted wk of June 14 ). Since June 7 my tt has been at the dealer, because they are unable to find the problem. I was advised this week that the car needs a new wiring harness and one will not be available till sometime in NOVEMBER OR DECEMBER. Numerous calls to Audi USA by myself and the dealer have fallen on deaf ears. The manager at the dealership (Newton Motors) stated that Audi is stuborn and refuses to admit any problems with the TT. Calling the 800 # is a complete joke, once you get to speak to a human they do nothing except call the dealer (which is something you do yourself)That B.M.W. is looking better and better !!!!!

If calling the Audi 1800 number doesn't work, I would call your state agency for motor vehicles. I don't know the laws where you live, but in Georgia, that dealer would have a car without taillights and you would be in a new TT or would have your money back. just a suggestion....I called the 1800 number for my tranny issue and got a wonderful response.

Wait a minute...

Can't find your 6/14 post? What you are saying is very hard it understand. It does not fit my experience with this company at all. They had a part here in two day's from one of the German factories to fix my car. Also I don't understand why a new wiring harness is needed to fix tail lights, I would bet you that I could get your lights working myself. There just isn't all that much to it, from the sound of it you arn't getting any power. Anyway do me a favor and explain the problem in more detail. Do you have brake lights, back up lights or just no lights at all? When did the problem start? Also go over the heads of the people you are talking to. Somebody tell me if i'm wrong but this doesn't add up. JIM

Maybe this guy is a BMW salesmen who hasn't sold a Z3 since the TT hit the street???If not SORRY!!!But this doesn't sound like the Audi/USA that I have talked to.
