For the TT Coupe, the answer is no. For the TT Roadster, the answer is yes in Europe (as an extra cost option along with the baseball stitched interior). For the U.S. TT Roadster, we'll see. My Neiman Marcus TT Coupe is Nimbus Grey Pearl, and the printed material says that the color is "exclusive" to the NM TT. It doesn't say "exclusive to the TT coupe, but the TT roadster may have the same colors". So, it will be interesting to see what happens.
If Audi does release that color scheme in the U.S., it is my opinion that the NM TT purchasers will have a very legitimate beef, as their car will certainly appear less "exclusive" is there are a bunch of TT roadsters with the same "exclusive" colors. I think that Larry Guzin is an attorney, and he owns a NM TT, so if they do release the roadster in our colors, perhaps Larry can file a class action on behalf of the 100 NM TT owners.

Brad, class action suit? Are you serious? It's just a paint color, on a CAR no less! Maybe some of us are getting a little too emotional about this great car, I know I have been! I think you are safe that no other TT COUPES will have this color again. That's pretty exclusive.
Keep it level headed!

The class action suit comment was toungue-in-cheek. Still, if they did offer a TT in my color scheme, I would ask Audi for compensation. If you wouldn't, then that's okay too.

The Neiman Marcus edition is exclusive because it was the first to be delivered in the United States. There is nothing all that special about it except it's Grey and says NM inside. And red leather (yuk). Give me a break. The grey should not just be limited to the NM edition. It is a color that is listed in the brochure and if you want to cry about it, go ahead. That's like me saying Nobody should have red because it is limited to the 225. Besides that, grey is the ugliest of the four colors.(silver, black, blue and NM Grey). So maybe it should remain exclusive, it's ugly. Did you pay thousands of extra dollars for that car to make it exclusive ??
I'll take the 225, when it arrives over any NM car any day of the week..

This is the kind of stuff that starts arguments and hard feelings. First of all, I would suggest that you post under your real name. It's hard to take someone seriously who doesn't. Yes, I did pay extra for the NM. It sold for about a grand more than a fully optioned 180 FWD. And you are incorect in regard to your analysis of the term "exclusive". The NM TT's colors are specifically referred to as exclusive in Audi/NM's promotional material.
As a final note, I wonder why you feel so compelled to comment? If you ordered a special edition vehicle which was supposed to have a unique color scheme, and later the manufacturer began making cars in your colors, you would certainly be within your rights to complain. And your concerns shouldn't give others the right to call your car ugly or take potshots at you. How rude!

Default Brake Dust Secret

While the topic of cleaning wheels is around,
when my 328 sedan was returned this week after
the first wax and detailing, the detailer mentioned that they had also waxed the wheels.
This has indeed greatly reduced the attraction of
the copious brake dust to the wheels. You only
have to clean the wheels every 4-5 days not
every other day!
I'll try this on my TT 180Q in a few weeks when
it arrives.
I just noticed that the 17" wheels on the TT are
"forged" unlike the 16" which are cast.
I am surprised as all my past cars have had cast
after market wheels as forged wheels were too
expensive. Such a deal!

Hi all!
TS probably couldn'd afford a NGP Beetle if it was available. He's just jealous. I have a Den. Blue, and I think the NPG looks great!
Have a nice day!
