Default First cross country trip for a TT?

This TT was just purchased by 1552 Design (formerly VW Sport USA), and will be driven from Salt Lake City to 1552's head quarters in Alexandria, Virgina.
A4.Org contributing editor John Stahmann found out that this TT was available for sale at a dealer in Provo, Utah, apparently the person who ordered had to back out at the last minute. John posted a message about this car on the A4 Forum (possibly this forum too?), the guys at 1552 Design saw the post and immediatly snatched up the car. The paper work was finalized today (Saturday).
Earlier this week I was contacted by Adrian at 1552 Design and was asked if I would drive it to them, since they knew that I was working full time freelance out of my home. What they didn't know was I had been offered a job, which I accepted, and I had just started that day! If only they had called a few days earlier I could have possibly been able to drive this TT across the country.
But the story doesn't end there. I knew that John had just been layed off from him job, so I recommened him for the job of driving it to them. Since John is directly responsible for them buying this car, it only seem fair to recommend him for the task. One thing led to another, and today John picked up the car and will be heading out for Virgina first thing Monday morning. I wonder if this is going to be the first cross country trip for a TT? I guess you guys will know better than me.
We figure that since the car is going all the way across the country and is being driven by one of the contributing editors to A4.Org, we might as well replace the cheesy dealer plate for a custom made A4.Org plate and plate frame. You'll notice that we modified the A4.Org frame (we removed "A4" from "The Audi A4 Website"). Stupid me, I guess it would have been more appropriate to have the TT.Org logo on that plate instead. I'll see if John can come back over and we'll make up a new one.
Look for more details about Johns entire trip sometime after next weekend.
Matt

Default Minor software bug - here is the pic

I made up a new plate for this TT that is being driven to Virginia from Salt Lake City. Hopefully it can generate some interest and get more people here.
BTW, I met Jason Dale last night when I took this photo. He's a pretty cool guy, but he pulled up in a Mustang! Guess they don't pay those Audi Tech's enough. :-)
Matt
