What's the best oil filter?

I understand that studies have revealed that the AC filter is the best. I personally use Purolater Mircon, I forget where it stacks up.Q

my take

I work on quite a few different European cars, and typically, if at all possible, I will use the OE filter. If not, I will always use Mann filters.
