Connecticut Plates

I've had my Silver / Black for almost 6 weeks, and still have that ugly paper temporary license plate taped in the back window. What is it with the CT DMV ??? <p>I was wondersing if any other CT TT's found the DMV slow to send plates.<p>Thanks,<br>Vic

Vic, The weirdest is that my dealer, Danbury Audi, had new plates on the car when I picked it up. That amazed me. Sorry you are having to wait so long. Den

Pray Audi (Greenwich) also told me that they'd take care of the plates. Hey, can I ask what the CT property tax was for you guys? I'm used to NY, where it was sales tax only....

Put heat on the dealer. It is their responsibility. It took me 6 weeks and I just got mine a week ago.

Bought mine in Mass, but live in NH, so I had to take care of it. Ordered vanity plates (a company car ...) and got them in 4 days. Kinda steep in NH ($600 reg is the prorated amount for 9 months)

Thanks. I assume I can just call the town for more specific info? The salesman told me to expect it to be in the $300-400 range. I've since been told by a friend that that figure might be way optimistic. Then again I don't know exactly how much longer I'll be at my current address, so maybe I should just register in NY anyway.
