Update on TT not starting...
... looks like XTTATIC was right on the money... the recovery man said himself that the battery was tiny, and that they never fit decent batteries to new cars. He charged it up for me, and it seems fine now... I think it was a combination of this being the longest time I went without using the car (about 4 days)... the other thing I may have done without realising it is that I may not have shut the driver door properly, leaving the courtesy light on... but I find that unlikely. Regardless, I'm going to try and get Audi to fit a new, decent battery for me...

I posted about a week ago, I had the same thing happen after leaving for a week vacation. My battery was completely dry. I had it towed into the dealer. While there, they replaced the instrument cluster, which had gone haywire and a sticky foglight switch. They put a new battery in (supposedly), although they didn't fully convince me that they found the source of the battery leak. Electrically, this car is worse than a mid-80's Jaguar. I wonder when the next time it won't start will be. . . .

FYI ... I usually drive my TTQ only on the weekends, so it normally sits in the garage for a good four or five days before its driven. As of date, I have not had a problem with the battery - knock on wood.
Secondly, ANY first-year model car will have problems - that cannot be avoided. I have a friend that works for an automobile company, and she too has expressed that a new model car will always have some problems - some small, some big - but problems will exist. Whether its Audi, BMW, Ford whatever the make is - problems will exist.
Jus' my thoughts.
