Borla Install - 30 minutes (4 pics) sorta long :-)
<center><img src="http://131.107.68.28/AudiWorldPics/2000/Borla.jpg"></center><p>Just got back from the shop... with all the talk about Borla Exhaust systems, I went out and bought one. While I have seen a one pic posted of the install, here is the total deal.
Got it Bill's Auto Accessories (408-923-6404)- $445+25 Shipping. Ordered Tuesday received Thursday via UPS.
Total time on rack 30 minutes. On note - you will notice a distinct smell for some time after the change. Borla claims it will last 300 miles or less. Issue is caused by internal muffler materials heating up.
All I can say is with the smell thing - it is gonna be hard to convince my wife that nothing has happened to our new car... she'd kill me if she knew all the things I wann do to this awesome ride!!!

Basic stuff - even for me and I know nothing about this car except it looks great, and drives like I always felt like my Jeep Cherokee should have ;-)

Yeah! Record the sound...it's never been done on the forum....
G-Teching the APR software tomorrow and my Borla (in back room for a month) is going in next week. Funny, enough is never enough...captive of the HP rush with this car. It is a so very different experience with grunt (stock ECU rides in bubble wrap in spare wheel-well at all times ready for a swap anywhere, anytime)

is your TT FWD or Q ?
my borla doesn't look anything like yours and i have a 180FWD. If yours is a FWD could you give me the part# ? Where did you have it installed? Bill's auto (in san jose) installed it for me and I don't think they did it right.
