Borla sound level

For those of you out there with a Borla, how about some feedback on how much louder is it than stock? Some of the A4 guys said theirs are loud enough to be annoying on the freeway and over ride their sound systems. I would like the extra HP and torque but not at the expense of too much exhaust noise at highway speeds.

Not much louder, deeper, better

def does not drown out the stereo. Makes the car much smoother...

I had a chance to ride in a Borla'd TT. I was expecting it to be pretty loud, but I was pleasantly surprised. It IS louder than stock, but hardly. And I agree with AkRascal... it sounded "deeper, better".

HOWEVER, the actual owner of the car who gets to drive it all the time said that it actually gets on his nerves sometimes. Mostly when driving around town... he said highway driving noise levels weren't as bad.

There is a slightly noticeable difference but hardly anything I would characterize as annoying. My Brilliant Black/Black 180 TTQ is simply smoother to drive with a exhaust sound that now, more accurately reflects the car, while improving shift ease.

Simply put - much better and an easy conversion.
