MTM or Garret
I had been considering to get MTM chip as it was said that MTM was the best in feeling and the power at 195HP 262 lbs.-ft.
Now I am ready to buy one and searched the archives for the final check, then surprise !! Garret now have 203HP 265 lbs.-ft !?!?!? even better with less money...
Does anyone have experience on both MTM and Garret's new chip ? or/and Can anyone post how Garret's new chip feel ? I searched archives and could not find that kind of information. Any info will be appreciated.

Garrett's chip is AWESOME!
He is also about to release a NEW update for his chip. I am guessing it will be in the neighborhood of 205-210hp and 275-285lb/ft. I think it will be released next week.
Once I know when it is release I will post it.

I guess Larry and I should race since I have the MTM...
anyone up for a trip to Raceway Park, NJ soon??
I had both a Wett and an APR(v2) in my former A4, and the MTM in my TT is definitely much more powerful!

Any info on chips for 225 Larry? (more)
I've read some stuff that it would not void the warranty but it does not seem conclusive. Would certainly like to bump power up but not at that cost.

The 225 chips can't be produced until the car hits our shores. That is the only advantage that a European based chip company has over places like Garrett and APR.

LarryTT - Please let me know!
I went with the extra ECU and have 2 ECU's and 3 chips, I'd like to send in one of the chips the day the update is ready so I can have it ASAP. I have Garrett version 3 purchased from AWE and am thrilled with it. Let me know when the upgrade is available.
