Are lease rates going up due to TTs bad press?
I'm going to the dealer tonight to try and deal on an amulet red Q with black interior. I,ve been using the lease rate calculator on Audi's page to calculate the monthly payment. I deducted that the residual they use is .67 and a cost factor of .003333 (8%). The monthly payment had been $473 for at least the last month and a half. I just checked this morning again and now the monthy payment is $483. Does anybody know how this works? Does the residual change as you get closer to the end of the model year or is it being affected by the bad press?

Residual should not change (more)
Lenders should pretty much have residuals now, though different lender's may use diffrent residuals (shouldn't be the case, but I've seen it happen). My dealer said the residual should be around .67 to .68 for coupe and about .70 for roadster. Perhaps Audi increased their interest rate.
