To import or not????

I am completely new to the Audi scene having come from BMWs and more recently Porsche, but am seriously considering ordering a TT ROadster (225). I've got quite a few questions which I will first check the archives for, but initially I have just a couple of quickies:

1. How does Audi UK view imports as regards servicing, warranty repairs etc as it looks like I could save up to 20% by importing a Roadster myself?

2. Are the proposed ESP (?) upgrade and boot spoiler both present on all new TT's?

3. Is there a UK Registry of owners who get together for track days, drives etc?

i was told by audi usa, esp starts 5.29.00, the spoiler is now a factory installed item, all tt's coming off the line now have the new spoiler & upgraded suspension. (2001 car's) 2000 are all built out per my info. hope this helps you.
