Got my 180Q fully modified, ESP and spoiler on Sunday - my thoughts.
Sorry to tell you all but (in my opinion), the modified version is so much better than the original.
The ESP system is incredible, and my TT sticks to the road like glue - it's as if it is on rails.
I took a sharp turn around a winding bend in the country (although safely), and the ESP signal came on and helped me round the corner, correcting the car to make sure it travelled smoothly. - Brilliant.
I am so pleased with my TT (what a surprise!), and I even quite like the spoiler as it gives the rear of the car some definition.
If anyone wants me to post or email pics then let me know.

Btw, about ESP....why switch it off in gravel or snow? I guess i'll read the manual later on
Does any have advise on break in for the car?
And what sorta checks when picking it up?

Send me all the pics you have and all the pics you will take of your modified silver TT (it is a silver on isn't it?).
I can't wait to see it with spoiler. You can send them directly to me (yves.lateur@belgacom.be)
I hope you will have fun with your TT but that will be no problem.
My wait is getting shorter. Only 3 months and my TT will be ready.
Bye Yves
... otherwise the ESP helps to keep the car on the road both on gravel and snow.
Except if you want to play a bit ... carefully !
Take a small torch with you.
Look at the paint work straight on and at an angle and look for blemishes or
inconsistent colour.
With your bare hands touch and run your hands over all paintwork.
Spend at least an hour taking the delivery
Check all switches and correct functioning of equipment
Open all doors, windows and the boot
Check all fluid levels
Check all tyres and alloys for chips or damage or nails.
Make sure tread is correct way on all wheels
Find out if the dealer has balanced the wheels. Some people are saying that the
factory has failed balancing tyres correctly
Check all lights and the alarm
Take some CDs with you if you have opted for the CD changer
Don't hesitate to complain about anything
Take the car for a test drive and check for correct gear change and any steering pull.
Ask for freebies like an A4/A6 cargo net
You should get the aluminium/fabric bound service manual wallet.
Buy a touch up paint kit now rather than later and leave it in your glove box....you never
know
ALSO - when I picked up my TT on Sunday - I got the dealer to sit in the car with me and show me everything from CD interchanger to lights, ESP everything....
I would say take your time...and make sure you get all the right documentation keys etc, and basically don't leave until you are totally happy.
It may also be a good time to get the Audi Leather cleaner.
Good luck and enjoy
