Default Insurance for 225 roadster
Just got a quote (approx) from GEICO direct that it would run about $1,171/year in NY (not NYC), plus I have another vehicle through them and my record lately has been clean.

Sound about right?

Default I got quoted 1200/year in MD (suburban DC)...
...for the 180 QCoupe, but then again I'm hideously overinsured. 28 year old male, clean record.

My full coverage through The Hartford will run me all of $497 (including 300/500, uninsured motorists, yadayada) and it is a full $32 yr more than the Audi TT coupe I had until last month.
That's what a squeaky clean record warrants.

I got my insurance thru Reliance Direct, and it was from a quote they gave at insweb.com - best way to compare and shop.

The rate is annually & locale is Albuquerque, NM (pop. 680,000)
