how can I use MiniDiscs?
Greetings,
Since no one responded to an old post, I'll try again! =)
I've got a Bose 225 coming in soon(ish) and I wonder if anyone has opinions about how to involve my old stereo in the mix.
I don't play tapes, and I hear that the TT comes with a tape interface. What I'd like to do, is have the ability to play MDs, but I don't know if I can add that in, or if I would have to rip out the stock stereo.
If the latter is the case, is it worth it? Will I be really losing out by removing the Audi interface/stereo?
If it's the former, where can I get an add-on for MD?

You need to replace the head unit if you wont to use MD, unless you use the connector which connect portable MD unit to tape drive(The one looks like a tape with cable dangling)
It may be the best you ask your dealer or car stereo shop. There some peaple installing MD unit or even navigation system at local car stereo shop without a problem (beside money. And that's happening in Japan).
