After placing a request, Metro Audi in San Diego does not take orders, for a 225qc back in January I found out today that the Audi specialist I was dealing with has left the company. I now start the process of looking for the TT from another dealer. After calling his recommendation, Hoen in North County, the best I can expect on an order is an arrival date in November. I was told that there is a chance on an non-allocated car sooner. I may do Brad痴 tactic of just calling every dealer in Southern California. Man I was hoping to be cruising up the coast in July. Thanks, just wanted to vent.

So they didn't take a deposit or anything at the time you signed up? My dealer wanted $1000 to hold my name, and they said they'd refund it at anytime ...

That's par for the course at Metro. They'll stick it to you every way they can.
I've posted a number of messages to this forum that addressed their sales tactics and (IMHO) lack of ethics. So, even though I live a mere 3 miles from Metro, I have ordered and will very soon take delivery of a 225 TTQR from a dealership in PA. Buying the car in PA will save me and estimated $8,000 over buying the car from Metro.
Shop around and get a better deal. Don't give Metro a dime.
