Audi (UK)- speed-track invitation for all TT owners
Got telephone invite today for a full day 'fast car racing day' from company on behalf of Audi. All TT owners will be invited thro' 2000, dates to be agreed.Said 'to make up for problems you may have had with car ? what problems, except I can't live in it! Best thing about car is wing mirrors - you can see people turn and stare as you go by! May 8th at Bedford Aerodrome is my day. No cost. will advise futher when written invite received. Vrrrrrrm! ........ Oh! Sh.........t!

I couldn't make it that day. and have had to pospone...
..as it's the day I need to drop my car off for it's 6 week ESP retrofit! Plus I want my car back before I go for the day so I can use any extra I learn immediately on my TT and not on a loan car.

I have just spoken to Audi(UK) and it appears that the track days will be run for ALL UK owners over the summer (various dates). I would assume that you will be able to pick alternate dates if you wish.
My car is a german import and I will still get an invite as soon as I register my car on the UK database (fax V5 & Service book inside cover).
Hopefully the day will be the full Jonathan Palmer day (<a href="http://www.palmersport.com/tms/">Click for link</a>) as the single seaters are amazing.....

BUT NOT FOR THOSE OF US WITH MODIFIED TT's
I got the call, and Audi apologized for the hassle I have had and asked if I had received the recall letter, as they want to invite me to a track day.
"NO" I replied "My TT was one of the first to be built with modifications"
