Curb 1 - TT Wheel 0
Do any of the folks that have upgraded their wheel looking to sell one of your original 17" Avus style wheels?
Send me an email at juanjo@sprintmail.com. I will pay shipping etc...
Thanks, Juan
Just a thought and much cheaper than buying a used/new wheel.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3285"><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ttsig.jpg" BORDER=0 alt="Click for Mods"></a>

Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
The place is called Rimtec, it's nothing more than a shed really (cash only!). The dealer put me onto them. They did a great job.
They do the whole shooting match for 50 quid, which involves dipping the wheel in acid to remove the lacquer and paint, then they skim the edges, sand it and re-paint and laquer. I think it takes a few days. Whitehouse Audi use them.
I went there with a kerbed polished alloy - they skimmed the edge and it was back on in 15 mins. I can only do each wheel once or twice though or else the lip on the wheel will disappear! They cannot do any full treatment on polished alloys though.
I also found another place further out in Kent, but never used them.
Email me if you want more details.
Simon
