Undergoing my 1st Zaino experience today.
I've washed in Dawn, washed again with the car wash, applied Z1 and Z2. Now I'm waiting for it to dry.

1st impressions
I'm going to wait 24 hours, as suggested, before Z-6 ing and Z-2 ing again.
Car looks good (it did before) and I have to say removing Z-2 is MUCH EASIER than buffing out wax.

Hmm? I don't know -it's only 2 months old...
and the paintwork is immaculate. I understand Z-2 has higher optical qualities than Z-5, which i take to mean it shines better. As I don't have any scratches or swirl marks I stuck with Z-2.<p>ChrisTTopher Lloyd

Lloyd, that is just fine. You only need Z-5 if you have swirls/scratches

My Zaino experience
I love this stuff! Looks better with each coat. One thing I've noticed: car seems to get dusty faster, and sort of haze's over first time it rains. (Maybe I don't let the zaino dry long enough?) But, after the first regular wash, seems to look even better than before.
Maybe it's a Raven Black thing.

Long term effect of these chemicals on paint ?
Has anyone worried about the long term effect of these chemicals on the paint ?
Shouldn't these products be approved by Audi some how ?
I just ordered wax from my audi dealer yesterday.
Maybe I'm just too worried.
But surely no one would put any kind of oil in their engines either.<p>Hugues

A fabric travesty....shame on you. ;-) And a big tip, don't use dryer sheets when
drying the 100% cotton towels that you use on TT. Leaves some sort of deposit on the towel that screws up any product you are trying to apply.<p>
