Default Protective Bra and rear spoiler Question

I just purchased a new TT last week and I have two questions. Do any of the members use a bra or front nose covering, and which do they prefer. Costs? Best Deal? Photos, dealers, info would be great of this too.

Second question, Do many of the users prefer the rear spoiler? My dealer has offered the spoiler and I am having a problem deciding. The car is an aviator gray color. Any pictures with the spoiler would be greatly appreciated. Thaks all for your time!
https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m/finishreg.phtml?cookie=acb3fabda00e58dbe8742ac6615 4b9d5

Default Colors and bras....

Below is an link to MiracleMile's TT page. There are two pages, lots of pics of the Aviator Grey.

Search the forum for "bra" and see what you find. Many have them but I have heard a lot about "rubbing" damage.

The spoiler questing is one that has been beat to death. Personal choice. At first I didn't like it, but once I saw a few cars (in person) with it, I think it works.

Default Have used a bra for almost a year...

and never had a single problem. Of course I take it off between road trips, or if it gets wet. And I clean it meticulouly when it comes off. It fits like a glove, and doesn't move a bit, even when driving well over 100mph. It is a Colgan Custom...the best available, and IMO better than the Audi one. It cost me $90. Pictures of it are a few pages back somewhere under the "Houston lunch" thread. E-mail me if you need more info.

Default How do you clean the bra? Looking for best practices. Thanks!

Default Very carefully! (more)

First I just shake the heck out of it, then I go over the inside and give it careful visual inspection and pick off anything I see on the black felt (bits of bugs or grass etc.), that may sneak in around the lower grill openings. Then I hose the thing down and use a small hand brush to scrub the bugs off. I never use any type of detergent on it, just water. Hang it up to dry, and it's like new.

I guess I should also add that the front of the car needs to be completely clean before putting it back on.

Default Does it itch?

Out of context this sounds like an ad from Victoria's Secret. Read it that way...did you laugh?

Default Make SURE that you NEVER use any AmorAll-type product on it (more)

because it needs to breathe when it gets wet. Any sealer will prevent water vapor from escaping outwards keeping the moisture trapped against the paint. Unfortunately I proved this on my first 911 in the 80s which ended up costing me a respray of the hood.
