Ahh.. those were the days.... Driving around "styling" in my Rusty, 4 door, Corrolla. I can't believe it myself. I even installed a radio I got from K-Mart or something, called it "The Booming System"
Oh well..
The TT shall redeem!

The Escort had one of the famous bad Ford carbs of the early 80's. Notable because a replacement was $245 installed and I could not afford it! What's that lease payment on my TT?

Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
The next car was a 1963 MGB Roadster...black in color. It was actually free. It had been sitting in someone's front lawn for about 2 years untouched. I changed tons of things to get it to run...battery, brake master cylinder, starter, radiator, and a bunch of stuff I can't remember anymore. The best part about this car is that someone had probably thought it was a synchro first gear (early MGBs were not synchro first) so suffice it to say first gear was made inoperable. I had to start in second gear everywhere I went. That is fun. After about another 6-8 months that baby was sold to some local guy for $275. BTW, you have not lived until you own an old British car...when you do...you gain a real respect for other cars...and you tend not to worry about the little things on the Audi. British cars are notorious for falling apart as you drive them.
Anyway, thats my story...and I am sticking to it.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3821"><br><br>
